The 48-star flag served as the official U.S. flag from 1912 to 1959, the second-longest run of any American flag design in the nation's history. This one is cotton, with the canton screen printed in white stars on a single sheet rather than sewn or embroidered, the faster method that took over flag manufacturing during and after WWII. It dates to that era, offered as a single original find in immaculate vintage condition, with the light patina of age. Only one is available.
